Questions recruiters ask first
- Where do my resumes live?
- Exactly where they already are — in your Google Drive. You designate a single folder, and Shortlist AI reads only that folder. It never writes to your Drive and never touches anything outside it.
- Do you use candidate data to train AI models?
- No. Never — not ours, and not our providers’. Resume text is sent to Anthropic and Voyage AI at search time only, and under our API agreements neither uses submitted data for training.
- What happens when I delete a resume, or my account?
- Remove a file from your folder and its parsed text and search index are purged after a 30-day grace window. Delete your account and everything goes immediately. Shared report links expire on their own 30 days after you create them.
- Do you contact candidates?
- Never. Their relationship is with you. We do not email them, and we do not sell or share their data with anyone.
- Can I try it before paying?
